Modern, crisp, and clean. These are the words that come to mind when I step inside this beautiful home. It's clear that no expense was spared in the remodel by Terrain Seattle. Views from inside over the Puget Sound stretched for miles in either direction. Its high vantage point is the perfect place to watch the sun set over the Olympic mountains. The kitchen is a chef's dream, with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a gas range. The living room is cozy and inviting, with a comfy couch and a crackling fireplace. Step just past the dining room onto the balcony with large fire pit and you find yourself in a private oasis.
Down below in the garden take the path leading to the homes lower deck and beach access. Immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Normandy Park is truly a hidden gem and this waterfront sanctuary is its crown jewel. This was the perfect place to entertain guests or simply relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. And with easy access to kayaking, fishing, and hiking, there's was something for everyone.
The Challenge
Tasked with capturing the full scope of this masterpiece just outside of Seattle in Normandy Park we had to bring out all of our Photography Services. The first and most important step was capturing the home itself. Homes like this are often unassuming from the front with the real magic happening in the back. Aerial Photography was required properly capture this property and our team went above and beyond to make sure these photos showcase the best features of the waterfront property.
The interior presented its own unique challenges. Our client wanted the photos to feel more like images from an interior design magazine and less like traditional Real Estate Photography. Straight on angles and shooting with the lights off were key to giving them what they were looking for and the results speak for themselves. Not all properties photograph well with the lights off but luckily the natural light inside worked perfectly for this technique.
Rinse and repeat. After all of the home was captured during the day time we did it all over again at twilight focusing on the best angles from the day. Twilight Photography is another great way to show off a different side of the property and for this one it was essential for selling the waterfront gem. For this home we did Interior, exterior, and drone twilight photos. Mix in a few details of the hot tub, fire pit, and swing, and the job was done.
In the end, we were able to give our clients the images they needed to fully market and sell their property for over asking.
